Job description

**Description** Burns \& McDonnell is seeking a Project Manager for our Environmental Services Global Practice with a primary focus on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) permitting, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, environmental studies, routing and siting, and regulatory strategy for interstate natural gas, liquids, LNG, hydrogen, carbon capture and sequestration (CCUS), electric transmission, renewable energy, and related energy infrastructure projects. This position provides the opportunity to lead complex environmental permitting and compliance efforts for major energy infrastructure projects while supporting business development, client engagement, and staff mentorship within one of the industry's leading engineering and environmental consulting firms. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of managing FERC\-regulated projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, developing client relationships, overseeing project execution, and delivering high\-quality technical and regulatory solutions. **Responsibilities** * Lead FERC permitting, NEPA compliance, environmental studies, and regulatory strategy for energy infrastructure projects. * Manage project scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, and overall client satisfaction. * Lead multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff. * Prepare and oversee routing and siting studies, alternatives analyses, environmental documentation, and permit application packages. * Manage preparation of FERC Resource Reports, Environmental Reports, Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs). * Develop permitting strategies and coordinate agency consultation efforts with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. * Support stakeholder engagement, public involvement, and landowner outreach activities associated with infrastructure development projects. * Support environmental compliance during construction, permit implementation, and post\-
