**Job Summary** Fire Sprinkler Engineer / Project Manager (NICET Level II) **Position Title:** Fire Sprinkler Engineer / Project Manager (NICET Level II) **Department:** Fire Protection **Reports To:** Operations Manager / Director of Fire Protection **Employment Type:** Full\-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Sprinkler Engineer / Project Manager with a minimum of NICET Level II certification to oversee the design, coordination, management, and execution of commercial and residential fire sprinkler projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, project management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, engineers, AHJs, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Engineering \& Design * Prepare and review fire sprinkler system designs in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications. * Develop hydraulic calculations and system layouts using AutoCAD, HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, or similar software. * Coordinate fire sprinkler designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. * Review plans and specifications to identify project requirements and potential conflicts. * Submit drawings and calculations to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) for approval. Project Management * Manage multiple fire sprinkler projects from contract award through final completion. * Develop project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and procurement schedules. * Coordinate material purchasing, equipment deliveries, and subcontractor activities. * Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contract documents and company standards. * Conduct project meetings with owners, general contractors, engineers, and field personnel. * Track project costs and prepare change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
