The Bartender (BA) has a primary function of greeting and serving customers promptly, learning customer preferences and answering menu questions, preparing drinks, and serving food items to customers. The BA will have a neat appearance and an engaging and friendly personality. The BA must have in\-depth knowledge about the drink and food menus and be able to upsell items to customers. The BA must always be efficient, observant, and personable to customers. Essential Job functions of the BA include: * Greet and acknowledge customers promptly. Read and listen to customers to determine their drink preferences and make recommendations as needed. * Check customer identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol. * Mix and serve alcoholic and non\-alcoholic beverages according to the menu options. * Prepare drinks for servers who are serving customers in the designated seating areas. * Always maintain a solid knowledge of the menu items and special promotions.
