Description: Job Summary: The RN Clinician Educator is an experienced registered nurse who serves as a unit\-based education resource, supporting the professional development and clinical competency of clinical staff under the guidance of the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner. This role is designed as a formal development opportunity for clinically experienced nurses seeking to grow their expertise in staff education and NPD practice. The RN Clinician Educator applies foundational knowledge of adult learning principles and evidence\-based practice to assist with onboarding, competency management, education delivery, and quality improvement activities. This role functions within the career pathway of RN Clinician Educator to NPD Practitioner to NPD Specialist. Primary duties and responsibilities: Orientation and Onboarding: 1\. Assists with the orientation and onboarding of newly hired clinical staff and new graduate nurses at the unit level 2\. Supports coordination, delivery and documentation of unit\-specific onboarding activities in collaboration with the NPD Practitioner 3\. Serves as a resource and coach to preceptors and mentors, supporting effective onboarding experiences for new staff 4\.
