Brighter Days Academy is currently seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic **Part\-Time VPK Teacher** to join our early childhood education team in Miami Gardens, Florida. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping young children learn and grow in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate VPK lessons and activities aligned with Florida Early Learning Standards.
* Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
* Maintain a safe and organized classroom.
* Monitor and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
* Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques.
* Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, safety, and VPK program requirements.
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall success of the program.
Qualifications \& Requirements
* **Current CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential or FCCPC (Florida Child Care Professional Credential) is required.**
* **Completion of all required VPK training/classes is required.**
* Previous experience teaching preschool\-aged children preferred.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
* Must pass all required background screening and state requirements.
