About the role
At Kaisa, IT is what keeps everything moving. As our IT System Administrator, you'll be the person behind the scenes making sure our team can do their best work every day, from a new hire's first laptop to keeping our systems secure and running smoothly. You'll be part of the Support team but work closely with Engineering, Business Operations and People teams on a daily basis.
If you are someone who genuinely loves technology, takes pride in making things work, and enjoys helping people — this might be the right place for you.
What you will be doing
Setting up laptops and accounts for new hires so they are ready to go on day one
Supporting the team with day-to-day IT questions and issues via our ticketing system
Managing device compliance and security through Jamf (our MDM tool)
Keeping our office network, Wi-Fi and meeting rooms audiovisuals running well
Running regular access reviews across our tools and platforms
Supporting onboarding and offboarding end-to-end on the IT side
Maintaining our Google Workspace, Slack and other SaaS tools
Working with Engineering on AWS access and permissions
Building out documentation and self-service resources so the team can help themselves
What we are looking for
Some hands-on experience with networking (Wi-Fi, DNS, TCP/IP basics)
Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for IT and technology — we value willingness to learn over a perfect CV.
Comfortable working with Apple devices and macOS
Some practical experience — whether from a formal role, a bootcamp, or an internship
Nice to have:
Experience with Jamf or another MDM tool
Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack or Atlassian tools
Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python or similar)
Experience with AWS IAM
You as a person:
You communicate clearly — you can explain a technical issue to someone non-technical without making them feel lost
You are organised and self-directed — you can manage your own queue and follow through without being
