CDL Truck Driver – Local Routes \| Home Daily National Trailer Inc. – Kansas City, MO National Trailer Inc. is a growing trailer rental and storage company serving commercial and industrial customers throughout the Kansas City area. We are looking for a dependable, safety\-focused CDL driver to transport storage trailers, perform trailer swaps, and assist with basic trailer inspections and yard operations. This is a local position with no overnight travel. You’ll be home every night and work directly with a small, growing team. Responsibilities * Deliver and pick up semi\-trailers at customer locations * Perform trailer spotting, repositioning, and yard moves * Conduct pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections * Secure and verify equipment before transport * Complete delivery paperwork and electronic inspections * Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch * Report maintenance issues and equipment damage * Assist with basic trailer repairs and yard organization as needed Requirements * Valid Class A CDL * Clean driving record * Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight customer locations * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety * Ability to pass DOT drug screening and physical * Reliable attendance and punctuality * Basic mechanical aptitude preferred Preferred Qualifications * Experience hauling or moving semi\-trailers * Experience with trailer inspections and minor repairs * Forklift or yard equipment experience * Customer service experience Compensation \& Benefits * Competitive hourly pay based on experience * Overtime opportunities available * Home daily * Paid holidays and PTO * Opportunity for advancement as the company grows * Modern equipment and well\-maintained fleet About National Trailer National Trailer provides storage trailer rentals, trailer transportation, and equipment solutions for commercial customers throughout the Midwest.
