Staff Pharmacist

This is a unique opportunity to get to help make a difference in people's lives.** **Metro Drugs is a Fertility Specialty Pharmacy located on the upper east side in New York City.** **We are seeking a FT/PT staff pharmacist. Recent grads are welcomed to apply.** **Need to have weekend availability (1 weekend a month).** Duties: \- Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy \- Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients \- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive medication treatment plans \- Monitor patient responses to drug therapy and make appropriate recommendations or interventions \- Conduct medication therapy management and utilization management activities \- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the storage, handling, and dispensing of medications \- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation \- Participate in quality improvement initiatives Requirements: \- BS in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy \- Current pharmacist license in NY \- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology \- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment \- Strong attention to detail and accuracy We offer competitive compensation packages, including comprehensive benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plans and paid time off.
