**Overview**
Join our dynamic team as a Contractor Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. **Responsibilities**
* Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles such as tractor\-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll\-off trucks to deliver freight to designated locations.
* Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
* Follow planned routes accurately while adapting to route changes or traffic conditions to ensure on\-time deliveries.
* Conduct thorough pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections of your vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
* Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route updates, or any issues encountered during transit.
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols and transportation laws to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.
**Qualifications**
* Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; prior delivery driver experience is highly valued.
* Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor\-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or specialized trucks.
* Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
