Summary: * + The Otorhinolaryngology Department (ENT) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania has an exciting opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) who has an First Assist certification or Physician Assistant (PA\-C) to join their team of board certified surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers. + The ENT team at HUP is part of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and provides care to patients undergoing elective head and neck reconstructive surgery for complex cancers of the head and neck structures, as well as general ENT procedures (including sinus surgery, vocal cord repair, CSF repairs, skull\-based tumor resections,etc.) + This unique role will not only assist on the inpatient service but will help to see new consults directed towards the ENT service from the Emergency Department and inpatient services, as well as assist in the operating room when needed. As an NP/PA on this service you will be part of a high functioning inter\-professional team who is responsible for the management of complex and critically ill ENT patients. + Responsibilities for the NP/PA who joins our team will include inpatient management, clinical decision making, procedures according to credentialing, complex discharge planning and transitions in care, care coordination, team collaboration, and education of patients, family and staff. + In addition, the provider will participate
