forklift / clamp operator

Role Responsibilities: This position will be primarily operating a forklift at a busy cross dock/ freight center. The forklift operator may also utilize a clamp truck throughout the workday. Position will involve operating sit\-down forklift, labeling, organizing pallets, loading/unloading trucks, and recording items into inventory tracking. Forklift Certification is required, or the ability to obtain within 90\-days of employment. JOB Functions * Provide consistent and detailed order picking / loading / staging / unloading * Process orders based on order timelines and instructions * Prepare and stage orders according to schedules * Identify and source materials from appropriate locations, utilize appropriate equipment to process orders. * Unload/Load Trailers by Forklift or Clamp Truck * Provide proper maintenance of equipment and keep work area clean and safe for customers and other employees. * Receive, identify and stock incoming materials for shipping, per Shipping/Receiving Procedures. * Perform other duties as directed Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to frequently stand, sit, bend, twist, grip and use their hands in a non\-climate\-controlled environment. The employee will be required to walk, stoop, and pull objects. The employee will be required to occasionally reach high and low, and lift items weighing 35 to 50 lbs. Experience: * shipping and receiving: 1 year * forklift/pallet jack: 1 year * floor space utilization in a warehouse: 1 year * Warehouse Management System\+: 1 year Schedule: · 12\-hour shifts · 4 Days On / 2 Days Off Rotating Schedule · 24\-Hour Operation with Day and Night Shifts · 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM Day Shift / 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM Night Shift Benefits: Starting Pay $20 \- $22 / HR with Shift Differential (Depending on Experience) Pay: $19\.00 \- $22\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
