The Prep/Line Cook will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and dicing as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager. * Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients. * Follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes. * Operate kitchen equipment such as smokers, fryers, and ovens safely and efficiently. * Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate order preparation. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment. * Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and storage of food products. * Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies. * Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu items and recipes as needed. **Qualifications:** * Previous experience as a prep cook, line cook, or similar role in a fast\-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a barbecue or grill restaurant. * Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety principles, and sanitation standards. * Ability to work well under pressure and in a high\-volume setting, while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail. * Stro
