Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within Network Services team, you will take technical ownership of core services in a multi\-vendor CDN control plane, partnering with stakeholders to deliver capabilities that improve performance, reliability, and safety. You'll design, build, and run production services, drive system design decisions, and strengthen engineering standards across the team. You'll contribute to an inclusive culture grounded in respect, ownership, and continuous improvement. **Job responsibilities** * Design, build, and run secure, scalable backend services and APIs using Python with Django and/or FastAPI * Apply responsible AI\-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining strong engineering discipline * Automate network services infrastructure and network provisioning workflows, including API integrations and (where needed) React\-based user interface components * Lead system design efforts and produce clear architecture and design artifacts to support high\-quality technical decisions * Improve operational stability by eliminating recurring issues through automation, enhanced observability, and resilient design * Review code, coach engineers, and raise standards across testing, continuous integration/continuous delivery, security, and reliability * Build and maintain high\-quality delivery pipelines with automated tests, meaningful coverage, and pragmatic quality gates * Partner with internal teams and evaluate external vendors when it accelerates outcomes and aligns to the target architecture * Contribute to an inclusive team culture that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills** * Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5\+ years applied experience
