**Job Title:** Pharmacist **Location:** New York, NY 10016 **Schedule:** 37\.5 Hours per Week \| 5 Days per Week **Shift:** Mid Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) ### **Position Overview** We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for an exciting opportunity in a fast\-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication management. ### **Compensation** **Travel Package:** *From $4,200/Week* **Local Candidates:** *$85 – $90/hour* ### **Key Responsibilities** * Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines. * Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation and distribution. * Monitor patient medication therapy and provide recommendations as needed. * Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws, policies, and safety standards. * Utilize pharmacy dispensing systems and electronic medical records (EMR). * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to optimize patient care. * Participate in sterile compounding and IV room operations as required. * Maintain accurate documentation and inventory control. ### **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Pharmacy. * Active Pharmacist License in the State of New York (NYSED – Primary Source Verification required). * Minimum one (1\) year of Pharmacist experience. * Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking). ### **Preferred Experience** * Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems. * Knowledge of sterile processing and compounding. * Experience in IV room operations. * Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
