Staff Pharmacist Location: Austin, TX, 78704 Skills Required: Experience as a staff pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting VMC Pharmacy is seeking an organized, highly motivated, customer\-oriented individual to join our team as a full time staff pharmacist. Job Duties Include: Administer the process of dispensing medication to patients according to their physician’s order, with highest attention to accuracy. Provide pharmacy services to medical practitioners. Counsel patients and medical practitioners regarding the nature and use of drugs. Oversee the preparation of all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory. Provide guidance, training and supervision to pharmacy interns and technicians during course of work and monitor performance. Responsible for managing all the clinical programs. Responsible for achieving individual pharmacy operating goals related to business objectives. Follow established policies and procedures to achieve quality improvement objectives. Meet safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Document and report medication errors and quality related events.
