Job description
**Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and excellent communication abilities. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Retail Assistant Manager will play a key part in driving sales, maintaining inventory control, and supporting overall store performance. **Duties**
* Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and high customer satisfaction
* Supervise and motivate staff through effective training \& development, employee orientation, and leadership
* Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies
* Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, POS transactions, and store math accuracy

* Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase sales and customer engagement
* Ensure compliance with store policies, safety procedures, and company standards
* Assist in budgeting, sales management, and shift management to meet financial goals
* Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with customers and team members
**Experience**
* Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within store or similar retail environment
* Strong background in supervision, team management, and employee training \& development
* Skilled in inventory control, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math
* Experience with POS systems, cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and purchasing procedures
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse custome
