**Duties**
* Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
* Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used according to safety standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to health regulations
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service hours
* Develop innovative sushi recipes and presentation techniques to enhance menu offerings
* Monitor inventory levels of seafood, rice, nori, and other ingredients; place orders as needed
* Educate team members on proper sushi preparation techniques and safety procedures
**Requirements**
* Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine
* Strong knowledge of sushi preparation, knife skills, and ingredient handling
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast\-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail for presentation and quality control
* Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
* Creativity in developing new sushi recipes and presentation styles
* Experience with culinary techniques such as curriculum development, cooking, plating, and working with diverse ingredients
* Familiarity with classroom management or training others is a plus for mentoring junior staff
* Passion for culinary arts, especially sushi making, with a commitme
